SkyPower Global is a Canada-based renewable energy developer specialising in utility-scale solar photovoltaic power projects. The company was founded in 2003 and has developed or contracted solar projects across several emerging markets. In Africa, SkyPower signed a framework agreement with the Government of Ethiopia in 2019 to develop 500 MW of solar PV capacity, part of the country’s plan to expand renewable electricity generation.
