African Clean Energy Developments (ACED) is a South African company dedicated to renewable energy project development in Sub-Saharan Africa. It is a 50/50 JV between African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) – itself a partnership of Macquarie Africa and Old Mutual – and AFPOC Limited (Mauritius). ACED's most notable project is the Cookhouse Wind Farm (138.6 MW, 66 × Suzlon S88 turbines) in the Eastern Cape, awarded Preferred Bidder status under REIPPPP Round 1.
