Access Power is an independent power producer (IPP) focused on emerging and frontier markets. Originally known for commissioning East Africa's largest solar plant in Soroti, Uganda (10 MW, 2016), the company has since rebranded and grown. In 2023 it was acquired by Engie Impact's parent ecosystem and its African assets integrated into broader platforms. Prior to the acquisition, Access Power managed a portfolio of mid-size modular renewable projects across 20+ countries in Africa and Asia, with over US$1 billion in development.
