Neoen is a French independent renewable energy producer, founded in 2008 and now France's largest. Listed on Euronext Paris since 2018, Neoen had approximately 7.4 GW of capacity in operation or construction globally as of end-2023. In Africa, Neoen has developed solar and wind projects in Zambia (100 MW Bangweulu Solar), Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. In October 2024, AGL Energy (Australia) completed the acquisition of Neoen in a deal valuing the company at approximately A$6.5 billion.
