Kwale International Sugar Company Limited (KISCOL), part of the Kwale Group, is a Kenyan agro-industrial company operating a large sugar production complex in Kwale County, Kenya, commissioned in 2015. The project includes approximately 5,500 hectares of sugarcane plantations and a sugar mill processing around 3,300 tonnes of cane per day. The facility generates electricity through bagasse-fired cogeneration, using the fibrous residue from sugarcane after juice extraction as fuel. The plant has an installed capacity of 18 MW, supplying electricity for the factory and potentially exporting surplus power to the national grid.
