Karpowership is a Turkish power generation company, part of Karadeniz Holding, specialising in floating power plants (“Powerships”) that can rapidly supply electricity to national grids. The company operates a global fleet with more than 8 GW of installed capacity and has deployed projects across several African countries including Ghana, Senegal, Mozambique and Côte d’Ivoire. Its projects include a 470 MW Powership in Ghana (operational since 2017) and a 335 MW Powership in Senegal (operational since 2019).
