JUWI Renewable Energies is a German renewable energy developer and EPC contractor founded in 1996, specialising in the development, construction and operation of utility-scale solar and wind power projects. The company operates globally and established JUWI South Africa in Cape Town in 2011 to develop renewable energy projects across the African market. In South Africa, JUWI has installed more than 500 MW of renewable energy capacity across multiple wind and solar projects and currently operates and maintains nine large renewable energy plants in Africa totaling around 574 MW.
