Hydro Tasmania is Australia’s largest renewable energy generator and operates the consulting firm Entura, which provides engineering services for hydropower projects worldwide. Entura has supported hydropower project development and feasibility studies in several African countries including Uganda, South Africa and Mozambique. As of 2024, the firm continues to provide technical advisory services for hydropower projects ranging from small hydro to large multi-hundred-MW plants.
