CHINT Green Energy is a Chinese renewable energy developer and EPC contractor within the CHINT Group, specialising in solar photovoltaic (PV), energy storage and integrated energy solutions. The company develops, finances and constructs utility-scale solar projects and distributed PV systems worldwide. In Africa, CHINT has participated in several solar projects including the Noor Laayoune Solar PV Park (84.5 MW) in Morocco, commissioned in 2018, developed in partnership with ACWA Power and MASEN. The company has also delivered smaller solar EPC projects such as a 2 MW ground-mounted solar plant in Ghana, supporting industrial electricity supply.
