Axian Energy is the energy division of Axian Group, a Madagascar-headquartered pan-African conglomerate active in telecommunications, financial services and energy across East and West Africa. Axian Energy develops and invests in hydropower, solar and wind generation, as well as power distribution infrastructure across its operating markets. Axian positions itself as one of the few homegrown pan-African energy groups with indigenous African ownership. Their 2030 objective is reaching 2 GW of installed renewable power in Africa.
