Lake Turkana Wind Power (LTWP) is the Kenyan project company behind the 310 MW Lake Turkana wind farm in Marsabit County, one of the most important renewable energy assets in East Africa. The company says the project comprises 365 wind turbines and supplies power to Kenya’s national grid; it has described the plant as contributing materially to national installed capacity and grid supply, making it a flagship African wind project.
