Cennergi (est. March 2012) is a 50:50 joint venture between Exxaro Resources (South Africa's second largest coal producer) and Tata Power (India's largest integrated power company). Focused on IPP opportunities in southern Africa, Cennergi successfully developed and now operates two wind farms under REIPPPP: the 94.8 MW Amakhala Emoyeni Wind Farm (Eastern Cape, commissioned 2016) and the 134 MW Tsitsikamma Community Wind Farm (Eastern Cape, commissioned 2017).
