Akuo Energy is a French independent renewable energy producer (IPP) that develops, finances, builds and operates power plants globally with a focus on social impact. In Africa, Akuo's flagship project is the 50 MW Kita Solar Plant in western Mali (developed with GuarantCo, Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund and Green Africa Power), which became West Africa's largest solar park at commissioning. Akuo has operations in Reunion (French overseas department) and several French Caribbean islands.
