Akiira Geothermal Limited (AGL) is developing the Akiira One geothermal project located south of the Greater Olkaria Geothermal Complex (GOGC) in Naivasha, Kenya, covering a concession of 480 km². The initial development phase focuses on 120 km² (Akiira block), targeting approximately 140 MW. The project was awarded a geothermal resource licence by Kenya's Ministry of Energy and has conducted extensive exploration drilling. AGL is advancing toward financial close with equity partners including Cobalt Capital (South Africa), GreenAm Energy, and Frontier Investment Management.
