Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL) is a Ugandan government-owned company responsible for ownership and management of electricity distribution assets in Uganda. UEDCL owns the distribution network infrastructure which is operated by Umeme Limited under a concession agreement, and manages rural electrification expansion across Uganda. The company works alongside Uganda's Electricity Regulatory Authority to expand electricity access to underserved areas. UEDCL was represented at Enlit Africa 2025.
