Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC Plc) is an independent power transmission and distribution company listed on the Lusaka Stock Exchange, supplying electricity to the majority of Zambia's copper mines (≥50% of national electricity consumption). CEC owns and operates approximately 900 km of 220 kV and 66 kV transmission lines, 38 high-voltage substations, 80 MW of embedded thermal generation, and the Zambia-DRC interconnector.
