The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) is the federal government-owned company responsible for the operation and maintenance of Nigeria's national electricity transmission network, comprising over 330 kV and 132 kV lines and associated substations. TCN operates the National Control Centre in Osogbo, which dispatches electricity from generation companies to distribution companies via the national grid. The company is implementing a major grid expansion and rehabilitation programme to increase transmission capacity and reduce losses on Nigeria's electricity network. TCN's Assistant General Manager participated as a plenary speaker at Enlit Africa 2025.
