Industrial Promotion Services (IPS) is the industrial development arm of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED), focusing on infrastructure and industrial investments in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. IPS has been involved in hydropower, energy distribution and renewable energy projects across East Africa. IPS also holds interests in electricity distribution companies in Kenya and Uganda.
