Azito Energie is one of Côte d’Ivoire’s key thermal power producers and a cornerstone of the country’s conventional electricity supply system. Established to help meet rising national demand, the company operates a gas-fired power plant in Abidjan that has been built out in phases to roughly 715 MW, using primarily natural gas sourced from Ivorian fields; it is therefore a conventional generator rather than a renewable developer.
